Moral culture should center on people and on the principle of cultivating the mind. Teachers should treat students as equals, regard them as subjects who have their own thoughts, feelings and interests, and stimulate them to play a greater role in education. The stress of moral culture should be laid on learning and practice rather than on cognition.
