分析了机械工程材料课程教学中在课程体系内容、教学观念、教学手段等方面存在的问题，提出了改革课程体系、转变教学观念、调整教学内容、改进教学手段、加强实验和实训等教学改革措施，注重学生实践能力和创新能力的培养，为高素质、创新型人才的培养提供了新的课程改革方法和思路。

On Reform and Practice of the Course of Mechanical Engineering Materials

The article analyses the problems existing in the teaching of mechanical engineering materials and puts forward teaching-reform countermeasures, such as reforming curriculum system, changing teaching concepts, adjusting teaching contents, improving teaching approaches, enforcing the consctruction of the experiment ＆ training and teaching base, reforming the way of assess and enforcing the constrction of the teaching staff. All the countermeasures above have in mind the cultivation of the students＂ abilites in practise and creation and providing new methods and thoughts on the curriculum reform to cultivate creative talents with high quality.
