A Study on the Teaching Mode and Evaluation System of Foreign Literature Coursein Application-Oriented Universities

Graduates from application-oriented universities are required to be creative and entrepreneurial to meetvarious professional requirements. Consequently, the undergraduate education should adapt to social reality andtrain students to apply theory to practice. In this context, all major teaching elements in foreign literature courseshould be integrated and employed, the heuristic, interactive and cooperative teaching modes should be adopted, anda more scientific and pluralistic evaluation system should be introduced, so as to accomplish the goal of educatingapplication-oriented talents.
