浅论天台宗小止观的教理与实践

佛教于两汉之际传入我国后,又经数百年之传播,渐与中国传统文化相融,形成具有中国特色的佛教,其第一个宗派,即是中国佛教天台宗。天台宗实际创始人智顗建立了庞大的理论体系——止观学说。止观学说融实践、理论于一体而盛行于世。事实上,止观不仅是佛教徒修身养性、求禅得证的不二法门,也是普通人培养心性、陶冶情操的有效途径。

Brief Exploration on the Theory and Practice of Tranquillity and Insight of the Tiantai Section

Buddhism,delivered to our country during the two Han dynasties and experiencing several hundred years' spread,has integrated with Chinese traditional culture and has become Buddhism with Chinese characteris- tics.And its first section is named Tiantai.The founder Zhi Yi established a great theory called Tranquillity and In- sight,which combined theory together with practice,was the only way for the Buddhist's enlightenment.Also,it is a good way to cultivate non-Buddhist's personality.
