On the Early Commerce Between China and Russia from the Seventeenth to the eighteenth Century

This article mainly expounds the early commerce between China and Russia before the nineteenth century and makes affirmative evaluation about it.The commerce is essentially different from the depredation trade launched by European big powers upon China during the Opium War.The article also points out Russian early commerce to China,to some degree,stired the development of commodity economy in the north of China and it made certain contributions to the prosperity of trade markets in the north.
