管仲的文化治国方略及其当代价值

Guan Zhong served as the prime minister in Qi for 40 years and assisted Qi in dominating in the feudal lords.His thought of governing the country by the culture is the special aspect of his whole thought system.Guanzhong emphasized the basic role of developing economy,and he regarded the prosperity of the country and the affluence of the people as the foundation.His thought of governing the country by the culture consisted of three parts:Firstly,through inheriting the culture of Zhou,the culture of Qi entered the dominant culture;Secondly,the culture of Qi itself became the united one by absorbing the ambient culture;finally,the particular culture of Qi came into being,which sustained the politics and economy strongly.His thought of governing the country by the culture is also helpful to today's social construction.It tells us that the foundation of culture is the masses,the construction of culture should embody the spirit of compatibility and openness.
