| Abstract: | This paper, based on a brief analysis of the characteristics of contemporary works of children's literature outside China in content and artistic expression, argues that the ideological and aesthetical connotations need to be enriched continuously in order to improve the quality of children's literature in China. Only by doing so can the writing of children's literature in the country find a more promising artistic stage of development. |
