| Abstract: | The article introduces Chan a sect of Chinese Buddhism combined with the life experience of poet Wang Wei.It also exposes the Buddhist thought of indescribable freedom and silence and the theme of returning to nature by using flying birds and the Western images in the mountain and water pastoral poetry written by Wang Wei. |
