| 摘 要： | 文章通过对小说《嘉莉妹妹》的两个中文译本的分析，提出在翻译过程中可以通过意译、联系纯语言知识和上下文语境等方法来避免片面形式对等，力求把原文的信息准确、流利地传递到译文中，从而使译文拥有与原文一样的表达力度。

| Abstract: | Through the comparison of two Chinese versions of Sister Carrier by Theodore Dreiser, the essay emphasizes that a translator can apply translation skills such as free translation, the combination of language symbols with context to avoid pursuing formal equivalence only in translation process. Therefore, a translation can be as close as possible to the original work, and the target language readers should be able to enjoy the translation as the source language readers enjoy the original. |
