摘    要:CALLA是O’Malley&Chamot在20世纪80年代后期提出的将学习策略培训、主题内容及语言发展活动融为一体的旨在帮助英语学习者提高语言水平的学习方法;其中提出的针对学习策略培训的五步模式是CALLA的重要组成部分。作者为探索融入性听力策略的模式而将CALLA模式及其他显性策略培训方法相结合应用于教学实验中,结果表明:在以英语为外语的学习背景下,在正常教学计划的限制范围内,将CALLA模式与其他显性策略培训方法结合在一起实施策略培训不失为一种可行的方法。

Abstract:CALLA(Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach) which integrates learning strategy training,topics from the major content subjects and development of academic language skills into one was developed by O' Malley & Chamot(1986,1987) and Chamot(1988) for the purpose of developing the academic language skills of limited English proficient students in second language contexts.The five-phase model for learning strategy training functions as one of the three inseparable components CALLA.In order to explore the model for incorporative listening strategy training and verify the feasibility of CALLA model in EFL context,the author applied CALLA model together with other explicit strategy training approaches to instructional experiment.The findings of the study assert that combining the CALLA model together with other approaches to explicit strategy training as the situation varies at different stages of training turns out to be a feasible way of implementing strategy training within the constraints imposed by normal instructional plan under EFL contexts.
