| 摘 要： | 在蔡元培等人的倡导下,中国于五四运动前后兴起了轰轰烈烈的留法勤工俭学运动.在以毛泽东、蔡和森为代表的新民学会推动下,大批湖南青年进入北京留法预备学校,此举在全国引起连锁反应.华法教育会及有关人士为形势所迫,不得不负"维持之责",从而掀起全国赴法勤工俭学运动的热潮.湖南青年赴法勤工俭学学生人数几占全国总数的四分之一,为留法勤工俭学运动的兴起作出了不可磨灭的重要贡献.

| Abstract: | An exchange program for overseas students in France, advocated by Cai Yunpei, arose on a grand scale during the May 4th movement . With the promotion of the Society of New Generations, under the sponsorship of Mao Tsetung and Cai Hesen, a large number of Hunan youth went to Peking and entered into the school that prepared the students for studying abroad in France. This soon caused a chain reaction in the whole country. The Sino-French Educational Institute and those people concerned had to take the charge under the pressure of the event, which resulted in a great upsurge of the movement. The young people from Hunan province occupied about a quarter of the total, contributing a lot to the rise of the exchange program for overseas students in France. |
