论译作的可接受性

翻译是为读者服务的,译者在翻译的过程中必然要考虑译作的可接受性。只有为读者认可的译作才算是成功的译作。译作的可接受性具有动态性,会因人因时而异。译作可接受性判断可从以下几个方面进行:(1)在语言表达层面,译语是否规范,文体是否贴切;(2)在文化取向方面,译作是否符合读者的审美情趣和译者所处的文化背景;(3)在交际功能方面,译作是否达到交际的目的。

On Translation''''s Acceptability

Translation serves readers.In the course of translation,translators must consider translations acceptability.Only the translation accepted by readers can be considered as a successful translation.Translations acceptability has the dynamic characteristics and varies according to different readers and situations.Translations acceptability can be judged from the following aspects:(1) whether the translated version is normal and the style is appropriate as far as the level of language expression is concerned;(2) whether translation corresponds to the readers aesthetic interest and the cultural background in the aspect of the cultural orientation;and (3) whether translation achieves the communicative purpose in the aspect of communicative function.
