流动与传播——西部外出农民工调查

本研究选取中国西部地区甘肃省天水市外出返乡回家过年的农民工进行了深度访谈,借以描述传播的想象如何促进了从乡村到城市的这场持续良久的乡—城迁徙;另一方面,也试图探究个人对某个异地的感知构建和亲身进入对其来源地的影响(这里指的是农民工的家乡)。研究发现,农民对城市生活的想象通常来自于大众传播与人际传播混杂的复合式传播通道,在大众传播媒介和人际传播的作用下,城市往往被定义为美好生活的代名词。尽管这样的想象显然过于简单化,但却真实地促成了许多农民离开乡村前往城市的亲身实践。而在经历被城市文化再社会化之后,返乡的农民工又成为城市文化的携带者和传播者,对农村进行着持久而影响深远的文化反哺。作为结果,这种文化反哺不仅推动着乡村生活的变迁,也反过来进一步塑造了那些未离开乡村土壤的人们围绕于城市及城市生活的想象。

Migration and Commumication——Investigation into the Western Migrant Farmer Workers

The resarch selects farmer workers from Tianshui city,Gansu province in western China,who come back home for celebrating The Spring Festival for deep interviews,aiming to describe how the imagination of communication improve the long lasting rural-urban migration.On the other hand,the thesis tries to find the cultural backfeeding influence on its original hometown in the process of individual perception and migration.The research argues that,the imagination of rural people about city life usually comes from a mixed media of mass communication and interpersonal communication.As a result,city usually be simply identified as a label of nice life,which tempts many rural people going to city impulsively.And after being resocialized by city culture,the returning farmer workers as city culture carrier will give long lasting cultural backfeeding to the rural areas.
