试论理工科大学生人文素质的培养

人文素质教育是面向21世纪高等教育改革的一个新课题。从全面培养青年学生的人文素养,进而提 高全民族素质出发,是历史发展的必然,尤其是理工科大学生综合素质的高低将直接影响我们科学技术的发展水平。 理工科大学应从文、史、哲等方面入手,加强人文素质教育,摆脱单一的学科知识传授,将科学精神、人文精神、艺术精 神等崇高的文化精神结合起来,塑造和培育具有综合素质的合格大学生。

On Cultivating Humanist Quality of College Students Majoring in Engineering and Science

The education of humanist quality is a new project facing the reform of higher education in the 21st century. It is an inevitability of historical development to cultivate humanist quality of young students and further to raise national quality,especially whether the comprehensive quality for students majoring in engineering and science is high or low will directly influence the developing level of our science and technology.The university of technology should,from art,history and philosophy,strengthen education humanist quality,get rid of only teaching single disciplinary knowledge and combine education with spirits of science,humanity,art and culture so as to model and train qualified college students with comprehensive quality.
