The linguistic aesthetic differences between Chinese and English People is expounded in the aspects of vocabulary, sentence and phonology. It is pointed that Chinese is characterized by contents-decided forms, flexible generalizations, concise comprehensiveness and rhythmic harmony, the integration of which creates the artistic charm and aesthetic taste exclusive to Chinese. Compared to Chinese, English is featured as strictly required linguistic structures- reaching harmony by stressing form and expressing meanings by making forms prominent. In spite of rhythmic beauties, the rhythm of English obviously cannot match that of Chinese in representability and requirement. The view is held that although a translation work is the translation of a foreign language it should agree with the features of the translated language and the aesthetic psychology of the people which the language belongs to, translation should be done on the basis of thoroughly understanding the original culture and its people＇s aesthetic psychology, getting rid of the literal bound and choosing suitable linguistic forms for the appreciation habit of the people who speaks the translated language.
