| Abstract: | Translation is essentially the equivalent transferring of meaning.Meaning,in turn,is determined by context of situation and culture.Translation of a single word,phrase,sentence,text,and so on,should invariably be analyzed from the three dimensions of context,that is,communicative transaction,pragmatic action and semiotic interaction.This paper aims to reveal the importance of context via analyzing the three dimensions of context. |
