| 摘 要： | 文章把英语动词的体作为一个独立的语法范畴来讨论,通过探讨体范畴的标记式和本质来澄清语法范畴中的部分争议.体范畴包括体性和体态两个子范畴,分别有不同的功能和分类.体性和体态相互作用,两者之间的关系必须综合考虑.

| Abstract: | The present article offers a systematic discussion of the "aspect" as an independent grammatical category, which consists of the two subcategories of aspectual character and aspectual state, each with their own respective subdivisions and different functions. As the two subcategories of aspectual character and aspectual state inter-depend upon each other, their relationship needs to be considered in a comprehensive manner. Probing into essence and the sign form of the aspect, the author tries to clarify some controversy in the grammatical category. |
