| Abstract: | The Old Beauty and Others was created by the American female writer Willa Cather in her later years.In this short story Cather made a trial attempt and innovation in the narrative skills by applying the shift of point of views,anachrony and comparison to portray the characters and reveal the plot.In this way,the story reveals the theme of recalling the past and cherishing the good life. |
