| 摘 要： | 对于长篇小说的篇幅,有将6万字视为“长篇”的,有将15万字视为“中篇”的;也有人认为,“字数和形式不是长篇小说最主要的条件”。而“长篇小说”是对小说文本篇幅的判断,只有在认可了小说的篇幅达到了长篇小说的标准之后,才能对小说进行审美的判断。至于多少字的小说才能称得上“长篇小说”,作者认为,10万字是一个比较适中的下限篇幅。

| Abstract: | This article studies the length of novel. As to this topic, there exist different opinions. Some holds that a novel must have at least 60, 000 words. Some considers that a 150, 000-word story a medial fiction. And some argues that word count and form are not the most important criteria for judging a novel. This paper holds that aesthetic estimation can only begin after length judgement. And 100, 000 words is an appropriate lower limit for a novel. |
