| Abstract: | The essay is on the basis of the text Hayy Ibn Yaqzan written by the medieval Arabian philosopher Ibn·Tufayl, revealing Ibn·Tufayl＇s thought of political philosophy by studying his text itself. Because of the specificity of the Islamic political and social life, the fate of philosophers was subject to law so as to become ＂perfect man＂, rather than ＂philosopher king＂ as Ploto put. Interpreting his text aims at causing people to pay more attention to medieval Arabian philosophy, which is of great importance for us to re-examine and explore modern Arabian political philosophy nowadays. |
