| 摘 要： | 严复是近代著名的学者和启蒙思想家,作为中国传统文化中的重要组成部分的科举制度,与严复一生的经历不无关联。通过从科举取士与严复对科举的体验以及严复的西学之路与其对科举制度的批判两方面的考察,探讨了科举取士对封建知识分子的影响。

| Abstract: | Yan Fu was a well-known scholar and enlightening thinker in the modern times.As an important component of Chinese traditional culture,the imperial examination system was greatly related to Yan Fu's life experience.This article offers a probe of the influence of the system of official selection through imperial examinations upon feudal intellectuals through an investigation of imperial examinations and Yan Fu's personal experiences in the examinations as well as his practice of learning from the west and criticism of the imperial examination system. |
