传统社会向现代社会转型所带来的一个普遍性问题是当代人的自我认同经常性地陷入困境,而随着个人主义在当代社会的兴起,这个问题的探讨显得更加别有意义。身体已经成为各类文化体系作用于自我的重要媒介,因此它对于自我认同具有不可取代的的价值。借助身体的维度考察各类文化体系对于社会个体自我认同所发挥的功能及其局限性,有助于我们从一个独特的视角来反思当代社会个体精神层面的生存状态问题,以及有效的意义系统的建构问题。

Self-identity Latched on Body Dimensions

One of the common problems caused by the transformation from the traditional society to the modern one is modern people’s constant confusion over self-identity.The exploration of this problem appears exceptionally meaningful with the prevalence of individualism in modern society.Bodies become an important factor to influence individual self in various cultural systems.Thus bodies have an irreplaceable value for self-identity.If the investigation into how cultural systems facilitate or constrain individual’s self-identity can be latched on body dimensions,this will provide us a unique perspective to reflect the modern existent problems in the spiritual plane and to seek a valid construction of meaning system.
