我国女性高等教育入学机会的城乡差异研究——基于不同类型高校的分析

在对陕、闽、湘、沪等10个省市区不同类型的50所高校在校生进行抽样调查的基础上,分析了城镇生源和农村生源女大学生高等教育入学机会的总体差异和不同类型高校之间的差异。提出我国女性高等教育入学机会的城乡差异不仅在总体上较大,而且在民办各类高校中差距更大,但在公办高校中女性高等教育入学机会的城乡差异则相对较小。在描述差异程度的同时,利用调查资料进一步分析调查对象中女性的家庭社会经济地位(SES)状况,探讨形成城乡差距的部分原因。

Research on the Difference between Urban and Rural Areas for Females Opportunity of Higher Education in China - Based on the Analysis of Different Types of Universities

Based on a survey of fifty higher education institutions in ten provinces including Shanxi,Fujian,Hunan,Shanghai and so on,this paper analyzes the difference of female students' enrollment opportunity of higher education between the urban and rural areas,especially the difference in various types of institutions.The paper comes to the conclusion that there exists great difference of the enrollment opportunity of higher education for the female students between urban and rural areas,especially in the private institutions,though the difference is relatively smaller in public institutions.The paper also analyzes the socio-economic status of the female students and probes into the causes of the difference between urban and rural areas.
