| 摘 要： | 通过对语用翻译理论的阐释,从文化差异和古诗含蓄性的角度讨论了古诗的难译性,指出古诗英译中运用语用翻译的必要性;结合例诗从3个等效层次上分析其具体的运用,最后从美学角度讨论其运用的限度问题.

| Abstract: | Pragmatic translation is the application of pragmatic theories to translation studies. After a brief introduction of pragmatic translation theory, this article proves the necessity of applying pragmatic translation to classical Chinese poetry translation by analyzing the difficulties in translating such poetry. Then the specific application of this theory is analyzed from three angles of equivalence. Finally, the limitation of its application is discussed from the aesthetic perspective. |
