翻译失真探源

翻译失真被称之为不忠实原文的同义词而为翻译界所垢耻。然而,翻译失真是一种普遍存在的现象, 是翻译过程中所涉及的各种因素的共同作用的结果。翻译是一个比较复杂的认知心理过程,在这个过程中，译者心理经历了不同程度的变形，认知缺损也是任何一个译者、任何一种翻译都不可避免的。译者的认知缺损和心理变形势必造成翻译的失真。

An Exploration into Translation Distortion

Translation distortion is often viewed in the field of translation as something disgraceful as it means unfaithful to the original works. However,translation distortion exists very commonly as a result of different concerning factors in the translation process which involves complicated cognitive activities. In this process translators experience different extents of mental transfigurations as well as cognitive defects,hence unavoidably cause translation distortions. Nevertheless,translation distortions have both advantages and disadvantages,thus it can’t be simply viewed as something disgraceful.
