非线性HVS边界提取算子

摘    要:为对人眼视觉系统(human visual system以下简称HVS)的明暗分界感觉进行较准确的计算机模拟,根据HVS对光强度信号的非线性响应特征,作者对司明状态下的HVS边界感觉机制进行了细致研究,提出新的非线性算子,把该算子用于图像边界提取的计算机模拟,经试验验证,与人眼感觉符合较好.

A NEW HVS EDGE DETECT OPERATOR

Abstract:A nonlinear HVS operator to detect gray edge was presented in this paper. It' s more accurate than normal linear edge detect operator when the difference of light intensity in the edge field is small. Further more, in this operator, the theory about HVS edge feeling of bright and dark was conformed to the theory of HVS response function to light intensity-the logarithmic function. The results of several experiments were consistent with the feeling of HVS. And normal linear operator couldn't successfully detect the edge of the image used in these experiments.
