ICM理论对物流英语翻译创新教学的启示

摘    要:在翻译教学中,引导学生读懂文本是首要条件。传统翻译教学往往忽视了文本理解的这一首要环节,因此不能很好的引导学生从事翻译实践活动。在人与现实世界互动体验基础上建立的认知模型(ICM)理论,作为掌握事体规律、理解语言的普遍认知方式之一,涵盖了命题模型、意象图式模型、隐喻模型等理论,对物流英语翻译教学创新有重要启示,也为物流英语翻译教学研究提供了新的理论基础和研究工具,是文本理解的有效方法,为探索翻译研究提供了有益的视角。

Abstract:Guiding student to understand original texts is the primary step in translation teaching.Traditional translation teaching often neglects this step so as not to well guide students to engage in translation practice activities.ICM(Idealized Cognitive Model)theory,based on the interactive embodiment between human body and the world,has been regarded as one of the universal cognitive methods understanding languages and mastering the law of matters.It includes propositional model,image-schematic model,metaphoric model and so on,having an important instruction and serving as a new theoretic basis and research tool for innovative translation teaching of logistics English;thus it is an effective way to understand original texts and provides a useful perspective for translation studies.
