| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体,文化则是语言的内涵,二者相辅相成,密不可分。不同的文化环境赋予语言的蕴涵意义可以相同或相近,但更多的是相异。英汉两民族文化个性上的差异,是造成翻译困难的重要原因之一,文化因素在翻译中占有重要的地位。

| Abstract: | Language serves as the carrier of culture,and culture is also the connotation of language.Language and culture are complementary and closely related.Although different cultural circumstances may result in somewhat similar implications of language,differences still account for the major proportion.The differences between English culture and Chinese culture may lead to difficulties of translation. |
