翻译既是语言的之间的转换,也是文化之间的交流,它既是一种跨语言的活动又是一种跨文化的活动。文化差异是跨语言翻译中的一大难点,同时也是造成翻译过程中信息走失的主要原因。因此,在翻译教学过程中,应特别注意遵循文化原则。使学生形成正确的翻译思维习惯,熟练运用翻译的基本技巧,使文化信息传播得以顺利进行。

Translation Information Loss in the Difference of Cultural Backgrounds

Translation,as conversion of languages and communication among cultures,represents both activity of trans-language and trans-culture.Cultural difference,however,remains a hard nut in as well as the major cause of information loss in translation between languages.Therefore,cultural principle should be followed in teaching arts of translation,which helps students to form correct thinking of translation and skill in its technique and benefits diffusion of culture and information dissemination.
