On the Political Position of Intellectuals in Patriotic United Front During the New Period

The Party's policy toward intellectuals is an important component in the united front of CPC.With the great alteration of the class structure of our country and the increasing reinforcement of intellectuals in our country's construction of politics,economy and culture,the party has redefined the class property of intellectuals.Thus,we are demanded urgently to have a sound grasp of its scientific connotation and to give an accurate judgement to the political position of intellectuals in the patriotic united front during the new period.So it it is better to carry out the Party's policy to intellectuals during the new period,to give their important scope to the construction of all walks of life in our country and to uphold this magic key of the united front.
