以俗为雅：禅籍俗语言对宋诗的渗透与启示

宋诗人提倡的“以俗为雅”,一是指题材的世俗化,与禅宗多举日用事的宗教实践观有关;二是指语言的通俗化,俚词俗语人诗,其根源来自禅籍俗语言风格的启示。宋诗受禅籍俗语言的影响主要表现为采用禅宗语录中常见的俗语词汇,仿拟禅宗偈颂的语言风格,并由此而推崇摹仿王梵志和寒山类似偈颂的白话诗。禅籍俗语开拓了宋诗的语言材料,使诗歌产生谐谑的趣味和陌生化的效果。

The Vulgar as the Elegant: The Revelation of the Vernacular of Zen Books to the Poetic Language in the Song Dynasty

The vulgar as the elegant" advocated by Song poets contains: first, popularization of subjects andmaterial in Song poetry which is concerned with Zen monks' applying routine matters to the illustration of the re-ligion; second, vernacular used as poetic 1anguage which is rooted in Zen books. Song poetry influenced byZen books shows the tendency as the following: adopting vernacalar words in Zen quotations, modelling thelinguistic style of Zen Gatha, praising and imitating the poeme of Wang Fan-zhi and Han Shan which are similarto Zen Catha. The vernacular develope the language material of Song petry, makes the poetry humorous andproduces an effect of estrangement.
