An Analysis of the Scientific, Artistic and Cultural Quality of Ornamental Plant Arranging Patterns

Ornamental plant arrangement, meaning laying out natural elements such as arbor, shrub, liana and herb with artistic methods, is to fully express natural characters of plants, like shapes, lines, colors and so on, in order to form scenic landscape environment, so that people are able to appreciate planting landscape and enjoy the culture contained. The article analyzes the plant arranging patterns and profound culture involved in them, states the scientific nature, artistic quality and culture of plant arrangements,and proposes making full use of ornamental plants to create suitable landscape environment on the basis of understanding the physiological ecological and cuhural characters of ornamental plants.
