北京记忆与记忆北京

所有曾游历过或居住在北京的人们,都有关于这座城市不同程度的记忆;但并非每个人都能将这种自然生成的零散漂浮的印象,变成一种自觉的文化活动。将“记忆”从名词转化为动词,意味着一个人物、一件史事或一座城市有可能从此获得新生。本文集中探讨如何将被动的“北京记忆”转化为主动的“记忆北京”,并指出“北京学”研究虽然在目前远不及“上海学”辉煌,但相信这个领域将更有发展潜力。

Beijing in the Memory and Recollecting Beijing

All the people who traveled and lived in Beijing would have memory of this city in varying degrees, but not everybody was able to change the impression unconscious and fragmentary into a kind of cultural activity consciously. It means that a person, a historical act or a city may be given a new life if the noun Beijing in the Memory is transferred into the verb Recollecting Beijing. The paper focuses on how changing the passive Beijing in the Memory into the initiative Recollecting Beijing, and suggests that “Beijing Research” have great potentialities even though it is not more splendid than “Shanghai Research” so far.
