新加坡双语教育的得失对中国双语教学的启示

摘    要:新加坡的双语教育在培养高素质人才,促进经济发展,增进民族认同等方面取得了巨大成就,但同时,存在着母语地位下降,语言分流副作用过大、民族文化传统丧失等问题。新加坡双语教育对中国双语教学的启示是:双语教学应从中国师生的实际水平出发,应妥善处理母语学习与外语学习、语言学习与专业学习的关系,应打造良好的师资队伍,创造良好的语言环境。

Abstract:Singapore's bilingual education has achieved a great success in fostering high-qualified personals,facilitating the development of Singapore's economy and promoting its national identity,but meanwhile there exist some defects: its mother language being on the fall,its subdividing policy on language education implemented at early stage of language-acquisition having evident side-effects,and its own national culture being disappearing.So the implications we got from it are: bilingual instruction in China should be based on both its teachers' and students' levels;such relationship as mother tongue acquisition and foreign language learning,language learning and major learning should be appropriately dealt with;in addition,good teaching staff forging and favorable language environment creation are equally important.
