| Abstract: | Weng Dujian studied the historical development of Taoist Literature and compiled Combined indices to the authors and titles ofbooks in two collections of Taoist literature,which made a great contribution to the study of Tao-ist Literature.Weng is noted for his meticulous scholarship.The information and explanations in his work are accu-rate and extensive.Though Weng Dujian might not be perfect in his study,he is no doubt the first scholar in the study of Taoist literature. |
