高校来华留学生教育中的文化冲突与管理

摘    要:在中国高校学习的留学生已经形成一个庞大的多元文化群体,他们分属不同的种族和民族,具有不同的宗教信仰和成长背景,体现出极强的多元文化性,由此也导致了不同文化间的碰撞。根据文化的层次性,留学生教育中的文化冲突主要表现为容易化解的技术层面冲突,社会规范、时空观、价值观的冲突和无法用外部强制力量轻易改变的深层信仰冲突。要想避免和化解这些冲突,必须加强留学生教育的管理,并根据三个层次间的关系和文化的特征,对任课教师、管理人员和留学生进行跨文化培训,在以人为本的基础上促进跨文化的理解,从而实现文化共生和完善留学生管理支撑体系。

Abstract:A large multi-cultural group of overseas students have arisen in Chinese universities and colleges. They are from different races and nationalities with different religious beliefs and growth backgrounds and demonstrate strong multi-cultural characteristics, which leads to the conflicts among different cultures. According to the hierarchal characteristics of culture, the cultural conflicts in the overseas student education are registered as the technical conflicts that are easy to resolve and as the conflicts of social norms, concept of time and space, values and deep-rooted beliefs that are hard to change. To avoid and resolve the conflicts, we should take measures such as providing cross-cultural training for the faculty and staff members and overseas students, promoting cross-cultural understanding based on human-oriented principle to realize co-existence of different cultures, and improving the supporting system for overseas student education according to the inter-relationships among the three levels and the characteristics of culture.
