摘    要:经济全球化与我国加入WTO,对人才的外语运用能力提出了愈来愈高的要求,本科院校实施双语教学正是为了适应这一趋势。高职院校学生的外语水平虽然起点不如普通高校学生, 但双语教学自身的特点和中小学积极推进双语教学的现状,为高职院校实施双语教学创造了条件。只要高职院校注重加强师资队伍建设,遴选外语基础较好的学生、恰当的课程和配套的教材,实施双语教学应当是可行的。

Abstract:Economic globalization as well as China's entry into the WTO calls for talents' stronger and stronger ability of using foreign languages.To meet the needs of this trend, regular colleges are now carrying out the teaching in double languages. Although vocational education college students' standard of using foreign languages is lower than that of students in common universities when they enter their colleges, the characteristics of teaching in double languages and the present situation that primary and middle schools foster the teaching in double languages have paved the way for carrying out the teaching in double languages in vocational education colleges. It is always feasible to carry out such a mode of teaching only if vacational education colleges pay enough attention to promoting teachers, choosing proper courses, teaching books that match and students who do relatively well in foreign languages.
