文化保守派与新文化派的宗教道德关系论

关于宗教与道德的关系,不同文化派别的知识分子存在着较大的认识分歧。文化保守派认为,宗教是道德的根底,具有引人向上的意义,可以统一信仰、凝聚人心,驱动人们义无反顾于正义事业,激发国民的爱国情怀,引导世人超越现实利欲,追求崇高价值,醇化人性,提升境界。而新文化派则认为,宗教不仅与善德无涉,而且会导人向利,致人颓靡。这虽然不乏思想解放的意义,但我们也应注意到,作为灵肉统一的人,的确也需要某种宗教意义上的终极意义追求。认真梳理并有机整合二者的相关思想,对于当今的价值体系建设不无启迪意义。
