由于语言及其测试方法的固有特点，外语试题中往往存在被称之为“陷阱”或“迷津”的难点。外语教材和教辅材料要帮助学生有效突破这些难点就必须具有严谨性、切实性、适宜性，否则因其本身的谬误和缺陷而形成的“绊脚石”会对学生带来极其有害的障碍。在确保语言文字质量和外语试题拟定可靠性的同时，教材教辅在编审时还须避免各种敏感性政治问题。

The Lifeblood of Foreign Language Textbooks and Their Supplementary Materials --Strictness,Reliability and Suitability

There are often difficulties called ＂ pitfall＂ or ＂ maze＂ in the test papers of foreign languages due to the inherent characteristics of language and its testing methods. The foreign language textbooks and their supplementary materials should be strict, reliable and suitable in order to help students overcome these difficulties--otherwise the ＂ stumbling blocks＂ that result from their own flaws and fallacies will bring about extremely harmful barriers to students. The politically sensitive issues must be avoided whereas the dependability of language level and working out the test papers should be ensured during the editorial control for these two kinds of books.
