摘    要:民国时期的华社无论其精神面貌、实质内涵还是社会架构,都是中国在海外的一个移植社会,该时期的华校是中国国民教育的组成部分,因此,其教育方针和课程设置与中国国内是基本一致的,教材绝大部分也是由大陆的出版机构编辑发行的,强调教学内容对中华民族的认同是该时期华语教材的主导思想。但同时华校教育又必须适应华侨居留地的社会环境,为侨生在居留地的生存和发展创造条件,所以实施华语教材的当地化。
