神仙信仰的发展与汉代医学兴衰

汉代神仙信仰的发展与医学的兴衰相反相成。汉初,神仙信仰陷入低谷,医学取得前所未有的成就;武帝时期求仙热潮达到前所未有的高度,却没有史料提及医学在这一时期有所发展;武帝以后,求仙热潮消退,神仙信仰通过理论化、宗教化向道教的方向发展,医学再次取得空前的成就。汉代医学与神仙信仰相反相成发展的深层动因是人们对生命永恒的不懈追求,正是人们对不死成仙的渴望推动了医学的兴盛,也使医学的某些领域走向歧途。

A study on the Prosperity and Decline of the Medical Science in Han Dynasty through the Angle of the Development of the Immortal Belief

During Han Dynasty,the development of the immortal belief and the prosperity and decline of the medicine were both opposite and complementary to each other.At the beginning of the Dynasty,the immortal belief was on the decline,while the medicine was quite prosprous;During Emperor Wu's period,longing for being immortals got to the never-heard-before level,while nothing was mentioned about the development of the medicine.After this period,the great mass fever went down and the immortal belief made its way towards the Taoism through theorization and getting more religious,which made the medicine prosperous once again.The deep reason of the phenomena was rooted in the longing for the everlasting life and it was just the longing that realised the prosperity of the medicine,and also made some fields went forwords in a wrong way.
