Harmony has always been a lofty ideal since humane came into being.However,people understand it in completely different ways: traditional philosophy unites material and consciousness,thinking and being in reductionism way on the basis of division of them.As a result,nature and spirit as noumenon oppose abstractly,and subjective thinking mode is incompatible with objective thinking mode.While modern philosophy transcends the confine of traditional philosophy from following aspects: it stresses the internal unity between human and the world,and advances the opinion that harmony is the constant transcendence over limit of human life and clearance of life horizon.Modern philosophy embodies not only a new dimension of thought but also the harmony outlook of internal transcendence.
