新时期三十年文学的回顾与前瞻

三十年来文学创作保持了长期持续稳定的繁荣,这是“五四”以来所没有的。这当然与改革开放、社会稳定、经济发展、文化进步和党的文艺政策分不开。三十年文学的共同特征是文学思想导向中社会主义、爱国主义、英雄主义和人道主义精神不断强化;文学多向艺术探索中现实主义显示越来越强劲的活力;文学题材越来越广阔,真正实现了历史、现实、天上、地下无所不写;大部头作品涌现和宏大叙事的制作,势头越来越强劲。三十年文学存在的突出问题是文艺越来越多地从属于市场需求,从属于金钱的收买。并由此导致文学偏离正确的政治方向,乃至损害社会主义精神文明建设。针对未来的发展方向,应当处理好三个关系审慎地处理文学与政治的关系;辩证认识文学与现实的关系;妥善推进继承与创新的关系。

The Retrospect and Prospect of the Literature in the 30 Years of the Neo- era

In the past 30 years, literary creation stays constant prosperity, which has been unprecedented since the May 4th Movement. This, of course, cannot be achieved without opening and reform, social stability, economic development, culture development and the literature and art policy of the CCP. The literature in these 30 years is commonly characterized by the continual intensification of the socialist, patriotic, heroic and humanistic spirits in directing the literary thoughts, the greater vitality of realism showed in the multi-direction exploration of the literature, the more diversified subject matters covering everything happening in from history to reality and from the sky to the earth, the stronger tendency of both the emergence of the great works and the creation of the grand narration. The prominent problems in these years are that the literature and art becomes more and more subordinate to the market demand and the money purchase, thereby leading the literature to deviating from the correct political orientation and even injuring the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. As to the future development, the relation between literature and politics should be carefully handled, the relation between the literature and the reality should be dialectically recognized, and the relation between the heritage and the creation should be promoted.
