明代宦官监军制度述略

军事关系国家以至民族的生死存亡，其重要性不言而喻。本文仅就明朝宦官监军制度的原因、表现、影响等方面进行论述，结论是：明朝宦官监军的制度是失败的，它导致了军队战斗力下降及国防败坏，加速了明朝的灭亡。

A Brief Account of the Military System of the Ming Dynasty to Place an Army under the Supervision of Eunuch

There developed in the military system of the Ming Dynasty a practice to appoint a eunuch as the highest military supervisor of one of its troops. In this paper is discussed not only the origin and manifestations and influences of this system but also its draw' backs wihch weakened the combat effectiveness of the t.roops of the Ming Dynasty and undermined its national defence and eventually led to its downfall.
