摘    要:比兴是中国诗歌艺术的两种传统的创作手法,它伴随着诗歌的产生而产生,也伴随着诗歌的发展而发展。先秦是中国文学史上的第一高峰期,在这时期,比兴大致经历了一个由萌芽到成熟以至繁荣的发展过程,它完成了诗歌艺术由巫术的、功利的转化为抒情的、审美的这样一个伟大的质的飞跃,对其后文学的发展产生了不可估量的影响。比较而言,《诗经》以兴的大量出现、比的抒情因素增长、用法纯熟巧妙标志着比兴的成熟,而以《离骚》为代表的《楚辞》则以比的泛化延伸、比兴构成象征体系并具有形象美和意境美标志着比兴的繁荣。

Abstract:Bi and xing are two writing methods in the art of Chinese poetry. They emerged and have been developed with the poetry. The peak came during the early Qin Period. Bi and xing went through the course from embryonic stage to the mature stage. The art of poetry has been changed from witchcraft and utility to the lyrics and beauty appreciation. It has much affected the development of later literature. Comparatively speaking, there were many bi and xing in The Book of Songs, and its usage was mature which marked the maturity of bi and xing. Bi and xing in The Songs of the South, with Lisao as its representative constituted the symbolic system which had the image beauty and the mood beauty, marking the prosperity of bi and xing.
