论左翼作家之政治趋向

在残酷的历史时代背景下,马克思主义社会化、世俗化、大众化作为仁人志士特别是先进知识分子的救国使命,决定了左翼文学突出的政治倾向。表现在三个方面:个体趋向群体、社会价值疏淡文学价值、"社会化"倾向加重。本文着眼于政治文化,通过文学与政治之关系探讨来解析左翼文学政治化倾向的因由和影响,力求真实再现其历史本貌和本质。左翼文学作家的政治化倾向客观上限制了对艺术本质探索和审美追求,以及艺术个体自我的个性发挥,但在救亡图存的时代对于贫穷落后的平民文学,左翼作家却做出了历史性的功绩,对文学的大众化、平民化做出了不可磨灭的贡献。

Comment on the Political Trend of the Left-Wing Writers

Under the background of the brutal era, Marx＇s social, secular popularity became the mission of the people with lofty ideals, especially the intellectuals, in their pursuit of a path to save the nation, which determined the political stand of the left - wing literary writers. This situation was manifested in three aspects ： group - orientation of the individuals, social value overshad- owing literary value, and strong ＂socialization＂ tendency. This article focuses on the political culture, the relationship between literature and politics, analyzing the cause and effect of the political inclination in left - wing literature, and trying to give a true representation of the history, the appearance and essence. Actually, the political inclination of the left - wing writers did make historical contributions, especially to the development of populace literature in time of saving the nation from subjugation, though it restricted somehow the development of individuality considering the nature of art and aesthetics.
