| Abstract: | Lyotard is widely recognized as one of the most important post - modernism theorists. He caretully examined anO pro- roundly analyzed the post - modern knowledge conditions and proposed paralogy as a new criterion for the legitimacy of recon- structing the post - modern discourse. His emphasis on diversity, difference, openness, and complexity conforms to the trend of contemporary knowledge development and also reflects his perspectives on education. |
