云南森林碳汇制度发展研究

The Exploration of Yunnan Forest Carbon Sinks Institutional Development

Forest carbon sinks refers to the ability or process which forest ecosystem absorbs the carbon dioxide in the air, and fixes it in vegetation or soil, resulting in the concentration reducing of carbon dioxide in the air. In the context of climate war- ming, forest carbon sinks both owns the dual function to mitigate and adapt to climate change. So, the development of forest car- bon sinks becomes one of the fundamental measures to address climate change. This article analyses the advantages in resources, ecological advantages and the late - mover advantages in the development of Yunnan forest carbon sinks, and comes up with strategies on how to promote the ability of Yunnan forest carbon sinks and how to specify the system of forest carbon sinks.
