书坊业与明清通俗小说评点

明清通俗小说评点经历了创作中心与刊刻中心由福建建阳等地向江南运河城市转移的过程,书坊业对小说评点起着至关重要的作用。万历中期以前是通俗小说评点的起步阶段,主要完成地在建阳,可称之为通俗小说评点的建阳时期。万历中后期以后,随着坊刻中心的转移,通俗小说评点有了新的发展,文人型评点大量出现,提高了小说评点的水准,而此时书坊主评点通俗小说的现象继续存在,但也有了新的特点。自从文人型评点出现以来,通俗小说评点中假托名士评点的现象普遍存在。这种假托名人的评点不仅为通俗小说及其评点的发展和繁荣提供了声势支援,同时也有不少评点具有重要的理论价值。
