辽代党争探论

辽代前期,为争夺皇位,以耶律倍为首的太子党及其绪余与以耶律德光为首的大元帅党、以述律太后为核心的后党及其绪余先后进行了两次党争,文争武斗,互有胜负;辽代中后期,围绕皇权与后权的几次党争,主要发生在后族两房(大父房和少父房)朋党之间,以及在后党支持下的耶律乙辛权臣党与耶律氵睿太子党之间,此伏彼起,接连不断.与其他王朝党争不同的是,辽代党争独具特色:大都发生在契丹统治集团内部的两姓皇族与后族之间;契丹民族传统的选汗制度--"世选制"影响下的皇位继承制,是诱发辽代党争的主要原因.辽代朋党之间为各自之私利,互相攻伐,不择手段,形成严重内耗,对辽代社会造成的危害不可小视.

Discussion on the Party Fighting in Liao Dynasty

In the early Liao period,in order to seize the crown,the crown prince Party headed by Yelvbei and the followers and the general Party headed by Yelvdeguang with Princess Party headed by Shulv princess and their followers conducted two battles succerssively,civil and military,and both had victory and defeat.In the middle and late Liao period,continual fightings among the king power and princess power mainly occurred between cliques of the princess Party and the Yelvyixin power and prince Yelvrui headed by the princess Party.The Party fightings in Liao dynasty were distinguished from those of other dynasties in that they mainly occurred among the princess and prince power in Qidan ruling group;crown inheriting system under the invluence of Shixuan system of Qidan nationality is the basic cause of Party fightings.The Liao cliques,for the sake of private benefits,fighted against each other by crook,which led to serious internal consumption and had great influcences on Liao society.
